Possibility to change your flight

For a non-refundable fee of 19.99 EUR per one-way journey passengers booking a Basic ticket can purchase the possibility to change the flight once.

Please note! This service can only be purchased at the time of buying tickets if this is at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Any changes are subject to availability and will be reconfirmed.

This service does not exempt you from paying the fare, tax and surcharge difference (if applicable) in case the booking class* or ticket type on the desired flight is not available, and it does not give you the chance to change your destination and/or route.

In regard to connecting flights, if the ticket change results in a stopover that exceeds 24 hours, a stopover fee and the airport tax difference must be covered in addition to the fare difference. If both flights are operated by airBaltic, the stopover fee is 50 EUR. The stopover cannot exceed 4 days.

All services purchased together with your ticket will be transferred to your new flight, except for travel insurance. To change the dates for this service or cancel it please follow the insurance policy terms and conditions.

A flight change request must be submitted via the online payment service no later than 1 day prior to the departure of your scheduled or desired flight. If the changes do not involve a booking class* upgrade or a ticket type change, we will change the flight at no additional cost.

*Booking class: the price level of the fare, identified by a single letter (e.g. A). The booking class is displayed during the flight selection process (upon hovering the pointer over the fare) as well as in the travel confirmation e-mail, next to the ticket type (Premium, A).

Please note! The given prices and information replace any information published previously and are subject to amendments or cancellation taken unilaterally by airBaltic at any time. The equivalent of the given prices in a different currency may vary depending on the currency fluctuation and applied rate. A bank applies its own exchange rates and commissions, thus the total amount may differ from that on the website.
