Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic today, on December 11, 2017, opens application process for candidates to the airline’s newly established Pilot Academy at airBalticTraining. Persons selected will be the first class of students of the professional airline pilot training programme and will become airBaltic pilots upon completion of the programme in about two years from now.

airBaltic Serves over 3 Million Passengers During Ten Months of 2017

Riga. During the first ten months of 2017 the Latvian airline airBaltic has transported a total of 3 007 034 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. In October 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic carried 319 018 passengers or 26% more than in the same period of 2016. For already the fifth month in a row it has been the biggest number of carried passengers in the airline’s history.

The Latvian airline airBaltic from November 12 till November 14, 2017 participates in the 2017 Dubai Airshow that is one of the largest and most important aerospace events in the world.  During the Dubai Airshow airBaltic together with the aircraft manufacturer Bombardier presents the most advanced commercial jet aircraft Bombardier CS300.

airBaltic launches new flights to Sochi and Kaliningrad

airBaltic launches direct flights between Riga and Abu Dhabi

The Latvian airline airBaltic in cooperation with the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Etihad Airways, yesterday, on October 29 launched a direct service between Riga and Abu Dhabi. The new route offers convenient connections to passengers travelling from the Baltics to the UAE capital and further to key destinations in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, as well as new travelling opportunities from Abu Dhabi to Europe.

High Passenger Demand for airBaltic’s Flights to Abu Dhabi

Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic in cooperation with Etihad Airways will launch a direct service between Riga and Abu Dhabi on October 29, 2017. So far passengers have made over 9 000 bookings on this connection.

airBaltic Carries 500 000 Passengers on Bombardier CS300

Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic has carried over 500 000 passengers on the brand new CS300 aircraft and now every fourth passenger of airBaltic is flying CS300. In total airBaltic has flown to 40 destinations in the Baltics, Europe, Scandinavia, CIS and the Middle East with the Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
