airBaltic carries 1.5 million passengers between Riga and Germany

Riga. During the last five years Latvian airline airBaltic has carried more than 1 566 327 passengers between Riga and its five destinations in Germany, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. From Riga airBaltic serves over 60 destinations, offering convenient connections to the Baltics, Scandinavia and the CIS.

airBaltic Performs 14 324 Flights During Three Summer Months

Riga. In August 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic carried 386 597 passengers or 21% more than in the same period of 2016. For already the third month in a row it has been the biggest number of transported passengers in the airline’s history. During the first eight months of 2017, airBaltic has transported a total of 2 345 371 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.

airBaltic Will Fly to Liepaja Also During Winter

Riga. Latvian airline airBaltic has made a decision to continue its domestic flights connecting Riga and Liepaja also during the winter season. The decision will allow the city to remain available for visitors from more than 60 airBaltic destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East and the CIS.

airBaltic Continues its Summer of Records

Riga. Provisional data show that in August 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic carried more than 380 000 passengers or roughly 20% more than in the same period of 2016. For the third month in a row it has been the biggest number of transported passengers in the airline’s history. During the three summer months, airBaltic has transported a total of more than 1 150 000 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.

airBaltic to Operate Geneva, Tampere, Gothenburg Flights Year-Round

The Latvian airline airBaltic announces its plans for the winter season that will begin in late October. airBaltic will continue to fly to Geneva, Tampere, Gothenburg also during the winter as well as re-introduce popular skiing destinations of Salzburg, Verona and Poprad in the High Tatras Mountains.

airBaltic Carries Record Number of Passengers for Second Month in a Row

The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 393 312 passengers or 21% more than in the same period of 2016. For the second month in a row it has been the biggest number of transported passengers in the airline’s history. During the first seven months of 2017, airBaltic has transported a total of 1 958 774 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
 

airBaltic Announces First Five New Destinations for Summer 2018

Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic announces its first destinations for the summer season of 2018, starting on March 27, 2018. Next summer airBaltic will have more than five new destinations added to its route map.

airBaltic Welcomes Seventh CS300 in Riga

The Latvian airline airBaltic welcomed in Riga the seventh Bombardier CS300 out of a total order of 20 aircraft. By the end of this year, airBaltic plans to have eight CS300 aircraft.

airBaltic Exhibits CS300 at Paris Air Show

The Latvian airline airBaltic from June 19 till June 21, 2017 participated in the world’s largest and oldest aviation exhibition Paris Air Show by presenting the CS300 aircraft in Bombardier exhibition pavilion. During the Paris Air Show the chief executive officer of airBaltic Martin Gauss personally met and presented the CS300 aircraft to Canadian government representatives.
