Want to spread the cost of your trip over time? With Partial Payments, you can book your flight today and pay in instalments.
Available when booking on airBaltic.com or via the airBaltic Call Centre.
Choose a payment schedule that suits you:
- Pay in 2 instalments : available when your booking value exceeds €100 and there are at least 60 days until departure.
- Pay in 4 instalments: available when your booking value exceeds €200 and there are at least 90 days until departure.
Simply pay the first instalment when booking and complete the remaining payments according to your payment schedule.
How it works
Need to cancel?
If you decide not to continue with your booking, you may request a refund equal to 50% of the amount already paid for the booking (excluding the Partial Payments service fee).
The refund will be issued as an airBaltic gift card and must be requested before the next scheduled payment date by submitting the required form.
Once the next payment date has passed, the refund option is no longer available and the booking will be automatically cancelled.

Important information
The remaining balance must be paid on time according to your payment schedule.
If a payment is not received by the due date:
- your booking will be cancelled;
- rebooking will not be possible.
If you experience payment difficulties, please contact the airBaltic Call Centre immediately.
Conditions
- Available only for itineraries consisting entirely of airBaltic-operated flights.
- Voluntary changes according to fare rules can only be made after the booking has been fully paid.
- In case of schedule changes, please contact the airBaltic Call Centre.
- Not available for bookings paid with a discount code or gift card, except discount e-vouchers.
- Remaining instalments cannot be paid using airBaltic gift cards.
- Cannot be combined with Freeze My Price.
- Flight Cancellation and Name Change options can only be used after the booking has been fully paid.
- Once the booking is fully paid and tickets are issued, standard airBaltic fare rules apply.
- The Partial Payments service fee is non-refundable.
Additional conditions for Call Centre bookings
For bookings made through the airBaltic Call Centre:
available for bookings above €100;
booking must be made at least one month before departure;
payment can only be split into two equal instalments;
four-instalment plans are not available;
the second instalment must be paid at least 30 days before departure;
payment is completed through the Online Payment Form after requesting a payment link.

Who can purchase tickets through a loan:
- Any permanent resident of Latvia or Lithuania can purchase products through a loan;
- The borrower needs to have steady, official monthly income;
- Loan amount: from €70 to €7000;
- Loan term: from 3 to 36 months;
- For purchases from €1400, down payment of min. 10% has to be made;
- To formalize a loan, a qualified Smart-ID, electronic signature or AS Citadele Banka online bank;
- To promote responsible shopping, we imposed a restriction that with Klix Pay Later one person can borrow no more than €7000 within a period of 30 days.
Each loan application is evaluated individually. The offer is created based on the bank’s internal guidelines, evaluating the customer’s creditworthiness, which includes a set of conditions like income, obligations, credit history and many other factors that determine the individual credit risk level. For customers with a lower credit risk, the range of lending products offered will be wider, but for customers with a higher credit risk, it will be limited, and alternative offers may be offered instead of what the customer originally applied for. Also, there will be situations when it is not possible to prepare a credit offer at all, such as in cases where the income/liability ratio specified by law has been exceeded.
