Boarding groups

To make boarding faster and more comfortable, passengers are now invited to board in groups.

We have introduced a group boarding system on all our flights to reduce congestion at the gate and avoid overcrowding in the aisle. This helps speed up boarding, reduces the chance of delays, and allows everyone to begin their journey in a more relaxed way.

Get ready for boarding by following these steps:

  • Be at the gate on time. Your boarding gate and time are displayed on your boarding pass.
  • Find your boarding group on your boarding pass.
  • Prepare your documents. Have your boarding pass and travel documents ready to show at the gate.
  • Pay attention to announcements. The gate agent will announce when your group is invited to board. In some airports, the current boarding group may also be shown on the screen in the gate area.
  • Wait until your group is called before approaching the gate.

Boarding order

We begin with pre-boarding for families with small children, passengers requiring assistance when travelling, and children travelling alone using the Unaccompanied minor service. Pre-boarding is followed by Groups 1 and 2, which include business class passengers and other priority travellers. Economy class passengers board next, grouped by their seat location.

Please note that boarding groups are called individually and in sequence to ensure an organized and smooth process:
