How it all works
- Check our wide menu of meals that are only available when ordered in advance – hot meals, salads, desserts, kids’ meals, and special dietary options.
- Choose from the meals available for your flight - hot meals are served on flights longer than 1 h 30 min.
- Plan ahead and check the pre-order times for your departure.
- Add your meal when booking your flight or during check-in or via manage yur booking. You can also pre-order via our call center or your travel agency.
- Receive instant confirmation - once payment is completed, your meal is secured.
- Sit back and enjoy - your pre-ordered meal will be among the first served onboard.

Where to pre-order your meal?
Take a look at the options, choose what works best for you and enjoy a fresh and delicious meal on board.
You can also pre-order your meals via the airBaltic ticket office, call centre or your preferred travel agency. Please note that only a limited selection of predefined meal sets will be available through these booking channels. You can check the available menu here.

Please note that selection of meals can differ depending on your selected route.
- Meals can only be pre-ordered for airBaltic flights.
- Meals cannot be pre-ordered for codeshare flights operated by other airlines (flight numbers 5000-6999; 7400-7440; 7741-7748).
- For charter flights operated by airBaltic (flight numbers 7000-7399; 7450-7739; 7750-8000), meals can be pre-ordered through your tour operator.
- Hot meals are available on flights lasting more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. On shorter flights (with flight duration less than 1 hour 30 minutes) only cold meals are available.
- If there is more than one passenger in the booking, a meal should be pre-ordered separately for each passenger.
- When pre-ordering meals during flight booking on airBaltic.com, you can select up to 5 meals and 5 drinks per passenger. Meals can also be added later to an existing reservation via Manage my booking, Online check-in, Call center and travel agencies.
- After successfully making a payment you will receive a confirmation message with an invoice attached to the e-mail address you provided.
- Meal ordering time and prices may vary across different stations (airports) due to local production capabilities and supply chains.
- Please be aware of the cut-off times for meal pre-order based on your route:
- Flights departing from or returning to Riga:
- Meal pre-order is available up to 12 hours before the departure with a limited selection of top-selling items, and up to 24 hours before the departure (depending on the route) for the full menu.
- Flights departing from Vilnius or Tallinn:
- Meal pre-order is available up to 24 hours before the departure for the full menu.
- Flights departing from all other airports (except Riga, Vilnius, Tallinn):
Meal pre-order is available up to 36 hours before the departure for the full menu.
- Flights departing from or returning to Las Palmas or Tampere:
Meal pre-order is available up to 48 hours before the departure for the full menu.
- Please note that meal pre-order on some flights may be subject to restrictions or limited availability due to operational reasons or other irregularities.
- Once a meal has been pre-ordered it cannot be removed from the booking and payment cannot be refunded and selection cannot be changed.
- In case you change your flight date/time and process is finalized more than 24 hours before the original and new time of departure for the flights departing from Riga, Vilnius, or Tallinn, more than 36 hours before the original and new time of departure from other airports, or more than 48 hours before the original and new time of departure from Tampere and Las Palmas, your meal will still be provided, but it may vary from the original if the menu has been changed.
- In case you change your flight date/time and process is finalized less than 24 hours before the original and new time of departure for the flights departing from Riga, Vilnius, or Tallinn, less than 36 hours before the original and new time of departure from other airports, or less than 48 hours before the original and new time of departure from Tampere and Las Palmas, your meal will not be provided and payment will not be refunded, unless the flight/date time is changed by airBaltic.
- If the flight/date time changes are performed by airBaltic and the initial meal cannot be provided, passengers will be contacted and can either choose alternative from the offered meal options or receive a full refund for the meal payment. The entire reservation must select one of these two options, offers cannot be combined.
- In case of last-minute irregularities and potential change of aircraft type, any meal on board may be replaced with a different meal from the onboard menu. You may decline the change and request a refund for the meal by contacting customer care after the flight.
- If the flight is cancelled by airBaltic and the full refund option is selected by the passenger, payment for the meal will be refunded together with all other payments.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients (such as peanuts or peanut derivatives) will be excluded from our catering.
- It is the responsibility of passengers to take all necessary medical precautions to prepare for the possibility of exposure to allergens (especially in case of severe allergies). Please note that airBaltic cannot accept responsibility for any such exposure, unless it results directly from airBaltic’s negligence.
- Please note, that airBaltic cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free meal, cabin or environment.
- airBaltic reserves the right to modify meal components and substitute ingredients with suitable alternatives at any time, when operationally required, without prior notice.
- Pictures of meals and drinks are for illustrative purposes only. Meals will be served in appropriate single-use packaging, and the brand of products may vary.
- In case passengers change their seats on their own initiative, this could result in a delay in meal delivery on board. A member of Cabin Crew should be notified about seat changes.
