Terms and Conditions
- Meals can only be purchased on board.
- Please note that selection of meals can differ depending on your selected route or duration of the flight.
- Hot meals are available on flights lasting more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. On shorter flights (with flight duration less than 1 hour 30 minutes) only cold meals are available.
- Some meals may not be available on all flights or might be already sold out.
- On flights between Las Palmas and Billund, Oslo (Sandefjord), Molde, Ljubljana, Inverness and Guernsey, freshly made meals won’t be available due to operational reasons. For connecting flights or other journeys involving Las Palmas, availability may vary and could be limited.
- Only cards with an embedded chips are accepted for the payments.
- For payments exceeding EUR 50, passenger ID must be provided. A purchase with a single card may not exceed EUR 250 and total payment by cards per one passenger may not exceed EUR 500.
- airBaltic Club card gives 10% discount off for soft and hot drinks upon presenting it and after scanning it by the cabin crew.
- airCafe combo deals do not include all the available meals and/or drinks. Please pay careful attention to the offer provided.
- Ingredients of the blended cocktails are served separately for passengers to be able to mix them individually.
- It is strictly prohibited to sell, purchase or give alcohol and tobacco products to the underage persons (persons younger than 18 years old).
- It is strictly prohibited to use narcotics, consume alcoholic beverages brought on board of the aircraft, or smoke any type of cigarette, including electronic cigarettes. Only alcoholic drinks that have been purchased on board may be consumed on board.
- While purchasing a flight ticket and accepting airBaltic Terms of Passenger Carriage, passengers agreed to obey acknowledged standards of polite behavior. In case the behavior does not comply with these rules, airBaltic will take any and all necessary actions to stop such behavior.
- Please note that meal offer on some flights may be subject to restrictions or limited availability due to operational reasons or other irregularities.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients (such as peanuts or peanut derivatives) will be excluded from our catering. Information about the allergens is displayed on the product packaging or may be asked to the cabin crew.
- The cabin crew has been instructed not to open the sealed packaging of products offered for sale on board.
- It is the responsibility of passengers to take all necessary medical precautions to prepare for the possibility of exposure to allergens (especially in case of severe allergies). Please note that airBaltic cannot accept responsibility for any such exposure, unless it results directly from airBaltic’s negligence.
- Please note, that airBaltic cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free meal, cabin or environment.
- airBaltic reserves the right to modify meal components and substitute ingredients with suitable alternatives at any time, when operationally required, without prior notice.
- Pictures of meals and drinks are for illustrative purposes only. Meals will be served in appropriate single-use packaging, and the brand of products may vary.
- The data controller is Airo Catering Services Latvija SIA, “Riga” airport, Marupe distr., LV40003200593, info@airo.lv. In the context of on-board sales, passenger personal data (sales data, flight data and payment data) is processed and transmitted to the IT service provider for the purpose of processing passenger order and for the purpose of preventing and uncovering criminally relevant acts. No data is processed or shared for other purposes, unless it is requested by law.
- Refunds are applied in situations when there are obvious and objective reasons only (purchased product appear to be defective). If there is no product to replace the defective one with, purchase cancellation and return receipts should be printed out by the cabin crew, statement form should be filled in and signed by the passenger, product should be returned to the catering company. If some circumstances prevent to perform these steps on board, confirmation for return statement form should be filled in by the cabin crew and the passenger and later along with the receipt should be sent by the passenger to Airo Catering Services Latvija SIA via info@airo.lv.
